Exchange 2013 Error: "Exception: Active Directory property 'homeMDB' is not writeable..."

Following up my previous post on mailbox move failures resulting in Event ID 2937 errors, I now got an error on the Exchange 2013 side with the following:

MSExchange Migration Event ID 2002

RemotePermanentException:Active Directory property 'homeMDB' is not writeable on recipient 'exchangeitup.com/Inactive Accounts/OldUser'

This fix, like the last one is easy:

Fire up ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers).

Navigate to the OU where the account in question is located.

Right-click the account and select Properties.

Select the Security Tab.

Hit the Advanced button.

And click the Enable inheritance button.

Click OK all the way out and now move the mailbox.
